Greathouse Construction

House Plan: Wayne Windham Architect

In Progress

The above pictures showcase the skillful stone work of Sam Puffer of Samrea Construction. His New England style masonry skills help disguise this home as another element of its natural setting. The use of buff limestone as a warm backdrop for the Smoky Mountain Fieldstone retaining walls invites you in through the stone arch to the front door of this marsh front home in Briar's Creek on Johns Island. The builder Brad Howard of Greathouse Construction has made countless trips around our stoneyard with the owners to pick the exact stones that will highlight the design ideas of the architect and interior designer.
